It falls, at first gently
Transforming everything to a hazy white
And then like a virus it attacks from out of nowhere
Spreading uncontrollably
Picking up in intensity and danger
It’s unbelievable how quickly it grows
It’s unbelievable that it seems to never slow
After hours or even days
It finally stops
And in that single moment when it settles
And the monster’s roar comes down to a quiet hum
It’s absolutely incredible
Like a scene out of a Disney movie
And that awe inspiring feeling you get from watching it
You could gaze at it for hours
Being lost in its hypnotizing presence
But after a short while
It mixes with earth
And mutates into a multicolored sludge
Before gathering into oddly shaped piles
And the wonder is gone
