When I looked up into a stormy night
I saw creatures among the lightening
Oddly, it felt right
I couldn’t find them frightening

There were beasts of every size

I didn’t think it was a guise

Their colors wild and free

But what could they want from me

Creatures tapped at my window

They asked, and with them I said I’d go
Creatures tapped at my window
Oddly, it felt right
