The warm kiss of sun on my cheek as though
it came from my mother, many years ago.
The wind is a cool awakening to the drab day,
and the soft skies, untouched by the poison of clouds.
the continual crackling of dead, dried leaves continue
to fall, yet the summer seems like it was just here.
the sprinkle of due on the clean green lawn,
so mesmerizing I wish time would stop.
Gods beauty shines on this crisp fall day,
and I just a bystander wishing it to stay.
