Faceless
Faceless strangers behind screens,
Unknown forgotten teens.
Left all alone,
Their own misery to hone.
What goes on behind the curtain?
The teens alone can be certain.
Others sneer and pass on by,
Never knowing it was goodbye.
When they're found on their bed,
Cradled with a barrel of lead,
Those who find them wonder why,
and they begin to cry.
Most never know the truth,
That the trials of youth,
So hard to overcome,
Can make someone so numb.
Did anyone try,
Of all those who stand by?
Those who did can't be seen,
Many a faceless stranger behind a screen.
