Lost Interest
I had never felt so separated
from the one that seemed so near.
You were the book I had lost
and found once again
Not a moment after.
Those words that I once passionately read
began to lose meaning
but still,
turning the page
seemed easier than quitting.
Two dreary hours
you were back on the shelf.
Chapters waiting, chapters waiting
Dust collecting in my eyes
to another,
once again
a well written treasure in guise.
