The day will come
When I won't be scared
When the bank isn't dry
When I won't cry
The pennies gladly shared
The day will come
When the smiles will be real
And the pockets stuffed
Retired Lady Luck
Will leave me, without a feel
The day will come
When no more will I skip a meal
Because all I had
Were a few nickles, sad
Hunger turned on it's heel
The day will come
When the questions will cease
About others' fortune
And my own misfortune
Will be at peace

When I will rest
