Just Me.
Stuck between goodbyes and her own limitations.
Hides behind an armor of wit and clouds of smoke,
She wants to see a circus with fairy lights and distant cries,
 heard above the roller coasters.
Jump on the merry go-round and let the sky rip open,
 blowing kisses to the ground.
What happened to the girl with fishnet stockings and a smile?
Well, she became an inch taller,
 with high heels and
 wore a frown.
