Waiting for a change
Seems so far out of range
Everyday feels the same
People barely remeber my name
I am to be blamed
Praying to be claimed
Seeing clones all around me
Wearing nothing but bones
This is more than hormones
I am different than them
Feeling like a deliquent
Trapped in a cage
Unable to release my rage
I want to feel
Like im seen
Like im not a machine
I have dreams
To be free
To sing
To dance
Hear my prayer
Let freedom ring

I was inspired to write this poem because at points i feel trapped and i feel like writing this poem was just a way to escape and be free for a while , after all isn't that what poetry is meant for ?
