It can find you,
Capture you, embrace,
And defy you.
Containing an essence
So strong or so feeble.
Revolting or regal.
It lurks about
Leaving its home,
Never to return
But to roam
And soon to be gone.
A ghost with no intention
Roaming far beyond its boundaries
Calling for slaves to try its invention.
As it drifts,
It holds,
A presence unknown.
But with a quick sniff,
The secret may unfold.
