Gently, Till
Gently, till the day dawns true

And life shall fill the ocean blue

And time stands still for us to pass

Fill love with silver, truth of brass

Gently, till the day dawns swift

And life becomes, beholds the rift

In which we pass, shadows of time

And naught is false, but love a crime

Gently, till the day dawns soft

And what becometh, shan't be false

For once when all shall become still

I'll wait for you, love have it will

Gently, till the day dawns life

For what is seen is surely right

A single rose, in hands of fate

Defying all that stands of hate
