The Life She Had
Misery takes joy from
The garden were the
Childhood grows after
The water and sun has
Helped deceit marvel in
The garden’s pond so now
Her reality is fond.
Failure begins to blossom in
The school where knowledge won’t
Be power and death will meet
Her at the front door this very hour.
Anger will sex the lies after
Divorcing loyalty she will
Learn how hope is cut by
Prison and bandaged by hate.
Bravery is knocked down in the city and
Maintained with lust in the apartment
Building, trust never lands on the
Doorstep of the deli.
Pleasure will never know her
Face because the influenced drunk
Raped what she had left of love and
Gave her nothing so she could
Look up above.
Death adopts her every thought
And it eventually kisses the
Already dug grave, it left her
Mother in a haze looking for the
Justice her daughter deserved that
Fateful night.
