Dancer bending in the light
Knees are snapping feet take flight
Hollow ribs dark gaunt cheek
Legs that burn, snap, and creek
Bending muscles straining back
Crying for the food they lack
Glossy lips and racoon eyes
Broken glory leaps and flies
Crazy mind and twisted soul
For the life that dancing stole
