Under The Sun

The sun’s glare sparkles the surface of the water as the spray and foam of the waves pound the rocks.
The sea appears never-ending, extending into the horizon.
Tiny crabs skitter along the sandy shores in an attempt to avoid the stomping of feet.

The blinding sun engulfs the Bahamas with its dazzling rays of light.
Sunlight strikes the smooth sand, transforming the beach into a sea of gold.
The sun’s radiance makes the water gleam a brilliant blue.

Exploring with my friends, I hear the constant murmur of conversation from the rows of vacationers that seem to stretch on forever.
On the beach, the loud laughter of the children pierces through the peaceful scene.
The gentle sighing of the waves as they crash against the shore is audible no matter where I go.

How many people visit the Bahamas daily?
How many know the effects their actions have on the scenery and its inhabitants?

The washing of the waves calms my soul as I stroll across the soft sandy beach.
