By rings we are entwined,
But her love was never truly mine.
Far away her eyes did wonder,
And this only left me to helplessly ponder.
But a kiss for my miss,
Oh this would prove our love!
But aghast her lips never met mine.


The author's comments:
What inspired me to create this poem was coming to my own realization of oblivion when dealing with love. Not only it's understanding but of its reciprocation. I believe all humanity is sort of stuck in this oblivion when it comes to love; all trying to figure it out and sometimes it just takes that one action to prove it true
