Some people were made to love
Some people were made to leave
Some people get caught in a crossfire
Confusion leaves us to bleed
A crying heart looks for love
Even if the owner doesn't know
But that's when liars deceive
And when I learn to grow
I used to wonder who would come next
I would lie awake dreaming
Now I'm fighting a war in my heart
And she just keeps bleeding

The author's comments:
Just under a year after my father passed I had my first summer love. I thought it was completely meant to be, I mean we were talking about marriage, a family, and the whole shebang. But of course nothing was ever delivered... Just goes to show you can start a relationship with someone through the phone (or Facebook for that matter).
