Walking a Fine Line
I walk this line
Of dangerously thin silk
Swaying of misinterpretation.
A length of a hundred miles,
To not only be a single foot...
But that choice is yours.
Tug-a-war begins
Between agreement and disagreement,
Stretching to the end of the line.
Balance is thrown,
A fallen but tight grip remains
There hanging from the line.
Pulling myself up
I carefully stand back upon the line.
Reaching for the ends
Of agreement and disagreement
To pull them closer.
Clashing into one another,
Two opposite ends of the magnet.
They struggle but start to give in,
To be one,
To be a whole.
