What is Love?

Kids think that they're so in love
But hearts break when push comes to shove
Their "love" isn't at all real
Blinded by attraction they feel
1% obsession, 99% lust
In a person they pour trust
Relationships can't stand on looks
Don't believe romantic books
Love isn't something you make
It isn't something you take
It' something you give
It's how you live
Love is more than romance
More than a horizontal dance
Love is being there
Showing that you care
Even when you're mad
Even when life's bad
