The other day when we had our girls’ day out
I meant to talk to you about life
Since I put it off the other day, today is the day
Listen, things will not always be as simple as they may
seem
You will have to work hard in life to get what you want in life
You must always tell the truth even when it hurts
You must always be patient because good things come to those who wait
You must always try your hardest at everything you want to accomplish, because hard work pays off
You must always keep a positive attitude, and keep lots of faith, because that is what it takes
But most of all, know that you are special to me, so whatever road you decide to take in life just know that I will support you all the way
