The flame...
She is hungry for the flame
That flicker that dances on her tongue
Or feeds smoke into her windpipes
To fog her mind
She aches for the clear liquid fire
That quiets the other hunger
The one she cannot bear to think about
And she dances in the glow
Before she falls asleep
The flame...
