Walking a walk
That no parent wants to do
Down the corridor of the hospital

Their little girl had a knife
Their little girl never thought twice
Their little girl took her own life

Now the parents that fought every fight
Are holding each other close and tight
It’s their fault their “sunshine” died
They realize that she may have been alive
If they wouldn’t have made their “sunshine” so sad

If only she hadn’t been so sad
Then the ending wouldn’t be so bad
Her mom and dad never had a clue
Of what their little angel was planning to do

If only they knew
She'd be alive today
But they didn't
Now she's in a grave
