always try your best and never give up.

My dance class is in Harem. The places around it are a deli, chase bank four different schools, Chinese restaurant, and Harlem Hospital. My dance class is on Fredric Douglas Boulevard. First we have two floors. On the first floor is where most dancers have Hip- hop, bathroom, ballet, tap, and there is the waiting room for parents. On the basement level there is where most dancers have step, change, and there is Ms. Perry’s office.
In the neighborhood by my dance class there is a homeless person. He is wearing all black and he sits in a white chair. He doesn’t ask anyone for money. He just sits across the street from my dance class .The neighborhood is kind of crazy. There is never any parking and people drive so reckless .Even though a lot of things happen around here I don’t get distracted from what I’m doing. Even though lots of emergency vehicles drive by everyone keeps going. After dance when I walk home I noticed there are a lot more things around me that I never noticed before. For example there is a restaurant, Popeye’s, a pizza shop, and a couple of projects. After about 7:30/8:00it was pitch black. It was so dark that you can’t see it until you get closer to it. But the street lights make it look like a romantic dinner. This week I feel I’ve worked harder than I did ever before. When I asked more questions I understood more.
Not being able to dance left me with a hole in my heart. I hungered for rhyme my feet that dancing left me with. I vowed that I would walk into Perry studios with a positive attitude. So profoundly difficult had the summer had left me with absolutely no rhyme to be taught to me. Others drove me crazy talking about going to a sleep away dance camp.
Enya I know from dance and from Hva. I met her when I was in 4th grade. When we didn’t understand we would ask the older girls if they teach it to us together. My cousin also went to the same dance class.
