Remember Us
The date, it was September eleventh
My family was to meet my dad's new boss,
But we didn't know how much it would cost
Today, we're all souls flying up in Heaven
I recall it like the back of my hand
I used to think life was precious and short
And now I belong to "God's Great Resort"
To think twelve years ago, I was on land
The sight of the planes in front of my eyes
They made me think, "Am I going to die?"
Remembering my dad fall to the ground
The look on mom's face when I turned around
We're remembered each and every day
Walking in was the price we had to pay
