Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholders

Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder.
But aren’t I the one who Beholds my Beauty
the most?
Eyes like earth.
Skin like toast.
Aren’t I the one who beholds my beauty
the most?
But is this beauty enough to boast?
Do other beholders like the look of toast?
Do they stare…
And whisper
Gross?
Should I care?
Aren’t I the one who beholds my beauty
the most?
Do I dare?
Let a beholder stifle my boast.
Quiet like ghosts.
I’d rather be gross.
I’ll Stick to my toast.
