For me it has always seemed
To be an empty bowl.
The people around me,
With their crystal bowls
Always seem to have their bowls full of different things.
Full of excitement, happiness,
As if they were filled with golden treasures
Lined with rich latten silk
Their bowls just seem to shine.
My bowl has never been full.
Covered in deep cracks along the rim
Eroded by the harsh storm
It lacks some kind of emotion.
Getting closer to emptiness each day
It has never had such luster
It’s just a plain dull bowl.
Waiting to be filled,
But never will change how I feel
Alone
