She goes through life wondering why is their so much strife,
she wonders if shell ever be a wife.
Cause all guys tell her she is ugly
and she goes home at night wondering if what they say is true
but god she needs you!
Every time she goes to school
she has to look at the faces of all the cruelty of the accusers and
She needs your peace, lord please bring relief of her suffering.
She endured so much it's disheartening.
she cuts, with no if ands or buts
the pain of cutting hurts less than the way they keep shutting her out.
they don't talk to her just because she is prone to fall
and they sit there and have a ball
but they are to ignorant to hear their daughters desperate call.
this feeling she is feeling is not right
its almost like she has lost all her fight
and i want to stop all of this,
She finds her comfort in a kiss.
all the guys take advantage of her,
her pain is their bliss cause here comes prince charming and he says all the rights words then after he gets what he wants
she loses what she deserves witch is someone who will never leave her but to her it seems they all do,
so she if forced to accept a false fact that Yahweh will too.
to many times she has been pushed to the ground
and no one helps her up cause their to stuck up and they always walk around with their chins held up...
as if they cant see her pain and they don't help her cause they personaly have nothing to gain and its sickening.
She tries so hard to erase her past.
and once she finally feels like she has done that.
let just say... it doesn't last.
every time she starts to fly.
because of previous transgressions she crashes
every beautiful flying phoenix just turns to ashes
her sin has created her a lifestyle
that she has no idea how to quit...
so she ties down,
she drops an anchor.
her boat is sinking and no one wants to save her.
she is just trying to get some fish but ya see,
she fishing with the wrong guy,
if you know what I mean (point to Christ)
she has lost all hope and her happiness was misguided.
if only you were there to tell her to fish on the other side and
its heart breaking cause ... no one has told her

He, he's tried all the options and when I say all i mean all.
I call him my modern day job that's a bible reference all good if your confused but back to the point this kid was abused.
Never felt like he was good enough, man went through life looking for that one single diamond in this life that was rough.
never did he find, something in life that satisfies he just felt so empty inside.
i love you" he pleas
"I lust you" is what he means
all these failed relationships
church, can i take a minute to vent please?
see the only thing he knows is
wearing the freshest clothes,
all that expensive cologne
but to the world he was just another clone.
surrounded by friends but still feels alone
so he seeks acceptance from females.
You know what I mean, and so i wont go into details
but he is sin prone and its left him in the gutter.
to cover his past lies, he tell himself another.
i wrote this poem so I could let you in
if his life was a jump-shot, it has bounced off the rim
he could find his acceptance in the fathers only son
but no one cared to tell him... no, not one.

ONE poem I write will have you crying
The next will make you hands clap.
I would write a joyous poem but that's just not where my heart is at
I'm looking at our deeds and I know we can do more than that.
I'm a prime example, lets just say I've had a heart attack.

The body of Christ works so much differently
It involves the whole congregation working in harmony.
But that besides the point I'm trying to bring..


so after this poem,
you cant say you don't know what was going on.
these people are some of my closest friends.
so what will our church do.
Now that I have told you
because this is the church that the world views.
The body of Christ, yeah that's me and you.
Next time somebody is falling
We should be answering them, they are desperately calling.
And if we don't,
We are just gambling with their lives,
