Followed until broken
shattered and battered;
Shaken until down
The girl I see, drowning in pills, no sense of reality.
The scars she has inflicted to ease the pain that she feels.
The guilt,
she blames herself for it all.
A child when all this happened.
Now a teenager, dealing with the flash backs of memories that come in her eyes.
Tears streaming down her face.
She shuts down and so does her body.
Only way to make herself better is to dig something sharp into her already battered body. That wants to heal.
Alone. Hiding it all. She fakes a smile and lies for what happened to her.
Asking her therapist to keep patient confidentially a secret. So no one will find out what truly happened oh so many years ago....
