Although I cannot see you
I know you’re near
I remember everything about you and your words I still hear

I miss you so much
Words can’t explain
Sometimes I wish I could get over this pain
Now that you’re gone
I feel so alone

Losing you was my biggest fear
So every day I drop a tear
If I could turn back the hands of time
I would wish for your presence one last time

Thank you for your gift of love
I know you’re spreading it up above
You’ve always seen the good in me no matter what I’ve done
You were always the one everyone could lean on

Since you’ve earned your wings to fly
I promise you grandma, I will not cry
