Lying here thinking was that the wrong thing to do.
Hurting inside, I wish I would’ve knew.
I laughed in her face, yeah that was kind of rude.
Now I’m regretting what I did, I’m looking mighty blue.

She walked in the hallway covering her face.
She was scared of me so she stepped up her pace.
Getting called into the principal’s room was not in my plan.
I just feel so bad at what I have done.

What I knew is that she already got issues.
Going how getting beat by her ole dude.
Nobody really knows what people go through.
So I apologized at what I have did.
Making her life more stressful,
I’m sorry my dear friend. ?

The author's comments:
While writing my poem Never Knew, the decisions i came acroos was punctuation, stanzas, rhymes and more. My mentor poem used comments and i actually made comments as well. My poetry has been a impact in my life because it gives me a chance to observe ideas and learn how to use new techniques.
