The world around is crashing down,
You are in the middle of the city,
Building burning falling crashing to the pavement.
Now what do you do?
Do you turn into the hero you always wanted to be?
Do you find your friends and family?
Do you try and save the world?
No, Wake Up!
You start running for yourself.
The world’s image of a hero.
Fake! the world promoting these assumptions
Of the hero that will save the world,
And tell you that everything is gonna be alright.
Now Wake up! And realize
That you don’t believe that.
There are no hero’s and say,
To yourself I can be the next hero.
I can be that next big thing that everyone,
Always talks about.
Now Wake Up
Be all that you can be,
When your world comes crashing,
Down around you, don’t run,
Don’t hide, realize that there is such a thing
As a hero in this world.
Now you might not wear a cape or spandex,
But if you believe that you can do something
Then do it now.
Wake Up.
Just do it no matter what the cost
Don’t be the person who just try’s and,
Says ehh that was good enough for me.
Don’t be that person.
Be the person who gives it their all,
And then says no that wasn’t good enough.
I can do better,
Don’t fall in line with all the sheep, stand above the crowd.
As the wolf everyone knows you can be.
But is too afraid to admit it because it scares them,
It scares them of what you can be.
Now Wake Up.
