God's Gift
During one dawn-to-dark
I see a girl and witness her sorrow.
Nothing lies on her face not a smile or smirk.
She walks dreadfully wishing it were tomorrow
I feel really bad for she,
I see her and her tears
yelling why, Why me ?
Now all I feel is Fear.
Then everything is put to a halt.
She stops and Her tears break
Her mood flashes like a lightning bolt
And one little smile awakes
As she grabs something off the ground
The sun finally appears
Sadly it has not been around
For many many years
Her hand holds a beautiful white rose.
The birds and the creatures
finally can put there toes
on the outdoor features
While the young girl dances
In a field of roses full of grace
God glances
Down to embrace
I'm here to say
things will get better and things will shift
Each and everyday
But that is God's gift
