The World Still Spins

The world continues to spin,
As I continue to sin,
The places I’m going to see,
Places where I shouldn’t even be.
The world continues to spin,
It doesn’t know where I’ve been,
Or where I’m going to go,
That, it doesn’t need to know.
The world continues to spin,
I feel like a washed up has been,
But isn’t that what we all are,
For none of us are all that far.
The world continues to spin,
As I try to wash down the gin,
But it’s all the same for death,
It always ends in one last breath.
