The rose

As I sit here
I see a rose
Standing straight up
Red pedels
All bright
Then they start to lose their color
Just as I am starting to lose faith
The pedels are now slowly fall apart
As I start to fall
The rose is just like me
I used to be full of life
Now I'm slowly falling apart
