" EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED"

You are a man, my son
Right now, you believe life is just for fun
Seriousness is out of your mind
Even, what is life? you have not defined

You are a man, my son
Life? Deal with it, you don't have to run
Friends and family,
You should understand
It's a responsibility,
You need to withstand

You are a man, my son
Have friends you can call the one
In troubles and happiness you can be bond
Though have different lives, still hang around

You are a man, my son
Someday you will have someone
Whom i believe you will call "my hon"
Indeed, your own family you need to run

You are a man, my son
Problems and difficulties cannot be done
Strong faith and beliefs, do not be mad
For life is a trial, where you have to trust God.

The author's comments:
I made this poem because my mom inspires me.
She always tells us what life is,
especially to my brother since he is
the only guy in our family.
True, sometimes we hate listening to
our parents whenever they keep on
repeating it, but I once realized
that it's better to know it soon rather than
being a totally helpless child who doesn't
know the meaning of so
called- life.
