Put all 999 pieces in first,
Reluctantly pick up the remaining piece,
Give it a small hug,
A light kiss,
And whisper some parting words,
Then find its home,
Place it down,
Mask your large frown,
Now it's complete,
Step back,
And admire your hard work,
With satisfaction,
A completed goal,
A grin across your face,
Your ready for a new puzzle,
A new piece to find a place

In Poetry class we were learning about list poems and how you can use them to make instructions. I was inspired by my hobby of puzzles my feelings towards the final piece. I hope that some of the symbolism I used shines through:)
