“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”
-William W. Purkey

The sky
Drowns the world
In silent sorrows
Of it's own.

Oversized droplets
Create a harmony
Of misunderstood
Memories.

Like the raindrops gently forming puddles
In my eyes,
All you are
Is a faded blur.

Drowning in a confusion
Of tears,
I'll let them
Tell me a story.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem as a reflection of a past relationship of mine. I spent weeks upon weeks feeling upset and depressed about the situation, but for an unknown reason. I think many people can relate to this in the way that sometimes, events may make us upset, but for an unexplainable reason.
