Tired
I have been tired all day
even after my full eight hours of slumber.
 I’ve been crashing into walls,
my brain has turned into mush,
my limbs are weighed down with iron,
my eyes are coated with glue,
and some mysterious force attracts my hand my mouth,
covering the warm air whooshing out
from somewhere deep in my body.
I have been tired all day.
 Not sad,
 not lonely,
 just tired.
