Soft snow falls
Gently blanketing the countryside
Under a peaceful quilt of silence.

Silencing all lively sounds

Made of powder, so soft and cold.
Silencing all lively sounds
The snow stifles all life.
Made of powder, so soft and cold.
It turns icy and cruel; sinking its fangs even deeper as night falls.
