Scratch until you pop
The idea the floats in your head.
Try till you match
It with words that hop
Out of your noggin and wed
Them with some device that
Would help to capture minds.
Think of rhyme
That would help to bat
Dimensions of new finds
Such that your piece endures time.
Scratch, Scratch, Scratch!
