The House on Towpath Drive
The leaves dance along the grass as a big gust blows. The two tall Maple trees that loop along the front on the yard sway back and forth. Different colored tulips line the bark mulch as the walkway curves up and around. The five concrete front steps made up of different colored rock are spaced out as the black iron railing goes up to the front door. The coffee colored house with the pitch black shutters seems to smile as the front door opens wide. The colors of the house are warm and inviting. The tulips are bright and happy. The emerald green grass tickles the ankles of whomever drops by. I am my house; warm, inviting, happy. As I grow old, I want my home to be just like the home I grew up in. I want to stay warm like the color, inviting like the door, and happy like the tulips. My future home will be large and welcoming, just as my home is now.
