Snake
I was in the woods
It was as is the air was getting sucked out of my lungs
My feet pounded the ground
I was fixated with the incline ahead of me
My heart raced out of my chest
My ears were ringing
I was beginning to succumb to exhaustion
The brush was thickening
As the incline increased so did my heart rate
My attention now brought me to an abrupt steep decline
I paused at the top looking down at my sudden fate
Time froze than began again
In the blink of an eye I found myself falling violently and painfully
