The Vast Ocean

Desire is a vast ocean
Deep and full of emotion
Our minds, sometimes, it will impede
It is beauty that fuels our greed.
The waves, oh, they come and go
In crisis, bigger waves may show
Yet the deepest part is always there
Unaffected when the weather is fair.
You won't always get what you want or always lead
But I guarantee you will always have what you need
Hear me now and hear this notion
Desire is indeed a vast ocean.
