I met a little humble
On a nice night
I met Humble
On a nice night
Near a lake
Oh small she is,
As small as a child.
And, “Why are you so gray
In this purple mist?”
I said.
“Why pale
As if death
Will call on you soon.”
“I am abandoned,”
So she said,
“no one cares about,
A little humility now.
But eventually I will,
Come back again,
Little by little.”
I knew from this
That pride is bad
If used too much
The little humble
Fades away
Into the purple mist.
