My teacher made me read the dumbest magazine in the world. I went onto Teen Ink website and I was looking for a article about lacrosse and I thought that I should write an article about Lacrosse because the game has gone too far away from when it started and this season I am getting a lot of dumb penalties. I seen one of my teammates holding the back of his head and hearing the ridiculous test that she gave him, I started thinking back to when lacrosse started in 1100. When lacrosse started there was anywhere from 100 to 1000 people on the field at one time. The fields were anywhere between 500 meters and 3 kilometers and it was extremely bloody. The reason for that was instead of war they would do that instead, most of the games looked like Braveheart. When lacrosse started they played with no pads the same with football. If you broke your leg you just kept going. When you got hit you got or your friend would beat the snot out of you. But in the game today a kid said one thing they get a three minute penalty and might even get kicked out of the game. Or one kid punches another kid or hit a kid wrong and they get kicked out. The biggest reason why that is because the refuse can get sood and or the kid’s parents. This is a result of the sue-happy nation we live in. Where if someone looks at you wrong you get sued.

Today in lacrosse the refs call almost everything. You touch a kids helmet you get to sit in the box for a minute and fell bad about yourself. You hit a kid hard you get to go to the box and feel bad about yourself. In one of my game this season, I was playing defense on this one kid and I hit him in the head not that hard but the refs were being too cautious and gave me a two minute non releasable penalty during that time the other time scored four goals. Which it changed the whole course of the game. Know if we're playing back in the day we probably would had won the game and keep our win streak alive. But again of the sue happy world we live in and were almost everyone is so keen on safety.
