The urge it takes me from my feet
From my soles, I sway to the beat
I surrender my body to it as it creeps

My legs begin to fluctuate
As I start to precipitate
The repetitions in my head
Keeping me out of bed

Hips maneuver through the notes
As my body starts to float
Takes my flimsy arms, just like noodles
Through the air they wave and move loose

From the hum from my throat that vibrates
Comes my chin that bobs up and down
My lips follow with a hum

As my hair sways to a beat
Up and down again it go
From the left to right
It moves with the beat

Round and round I go
My body moves to and fro
the love I have for this thing
Begins again as it rings

My heart pounds to the beat of the drum
It swells in joy to feel the heat of the strum
Upon hearing the raspy sound, a voice
My heart has made an obvious choice

The thing that brings it the most joy is
Music.
