Seen on the Way to the Bus Stop

Walking through the town you see
a fountain, out of place in a town,
but ivy springs around its base
despite the gravel of the road
and as you walk on through the streets
a mist still lingers on your face.

Beautiful, unique things blossom in unlikely places. You are never alone, though you may feel like the odd one out. Just keep your eyes open for the signs of the universe.

This is so evocative. Really a well done piece. Short, yes, but all the more poignant for it.
