Wherefore art thou love?

Dancing around, above and below,
Under the lights, our faces glow.
Seeing each other for the very first time,
Speaking like Shakespeare often rhyme.

Sharing smiles and awkward stares,
Finding your only love is just so rare.
Chasing her to find a way,
To say those things you should say.

Pilgrims are mentioned, kissing then occurs.
Not a Capulet you wrongly infer.
Her mother, the leading lady, now craves a word.
Something you wish you haven’t just heard.

Swept away by that caring nurse,
This quickly turned into a curse.
Each found their only mate,
Sprung from their only hate.
