Favorite Quote:
I'm not afraid of the darkness, just what it holds.

aromatic blooms grew around my well
accenting the tan of the bricks
i leaned my head against their cool surface
simply sat and reminisced

of childhood fun with friends long gone
the well is the only thing that remains
the revived forrest and fresh air
when came the torrential rains

with them came a boy, my first love
though his name has long slipped my mind
i still remember his gold hair and his eyes
the feel of fingers intertwined

i'm brought back to the present by the sound of a motor
and the whistling of the fall wind
my memories swirl like the leaves in the breeze
how i wish i could live the moments again

I've always been one of those people who is sentimental about things they haven't experienced. I was flipping through a magazine and came across a stunning photo of a well. Inspiration struck, and this came out! I just hope to transport my readers to this serene and calm environment.
