When in the course of human events,
America declares it is free.
During a war of hate and dissent,
A resolution from Henry Lee.

America we cannot own,
As they dissolve political bonds.
Standing separate from the throne,
To their rebellion we must respond.

We must continue to fight back,
The colonies belong to the king.
America will not draw back,
Their Liberty bell will ring.
