A blue bird sat in its nest
Wondering what he would have to eat
He saw a leaf fall from from the tree
But he said
No I don't want that
So he flew to his friends nest and sat
Looking around for something to eat
He saw another bird flying around above him
But he said
No I can't eat another bird
So he flew to a bench and sat
And looked all around
For something to eat
A human came over
and sat down beside him
But he said
No I can't eat a human
So he flew to a rock and sat down
He looked all around for something to eat
He saw some trash
But he said
no I don't want trash
So he flew beside a pond and sat down
He looked all around for something to eat
He saw a worm
Squirming across the ground
And he said that looks delicious
So he bent over and swallowed up the worm
Delicious he said
And the Blue Bird went about the rest of the day
With a belly full
Of a little worm
