Ode to Mom
She is sick,
She is tired.
Yet so strong,
and so admired.
She is firm,
sometimes scary.
Yet so sweet,
It's extraordinary.
She is loving,
Her heart so warm.
I can feel it
From night 'til morn.
She is there for me,
She'll hold my hand.
And in her beliefs,
She will stand.
Despite her beauty,
She is modest.
She is powerful,
Like a Greek Goddess.
She is fatigued,
But she would still
Run a marathon.
Even uphill.
She is the epitome
of happiness.
The joy she brings
Is endless.
My list could go on and on,
But to sum it all up,
She is my mom.

She suffers from a chronic illness that makes her tired all the time. There are other problems that come with it, but mainly fatigue. She could mope around and feel sorry for herself, but she doesn't. My mom is the best. :)Happy mother's day!
